U.S. Health Report 2010 warns country for increasing obesity and overweight young people

After watching movie ‘300’, trend of getting a 6 pack body is recorded by Health and Fitness centers around the country. It is reported that with increasing trend of getting a 6 pack body, health and fitness centers have to increase their capacity and equipments. It also gives a boom to home fitness plans.

Various workout plans like P90x have recorded a hike in sale of their products. Movie has also raised a talk about health and fitness in the country. With the declining health and fitness graph and from US health Report 2010, generated by combined efforts of U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and National Center for Health Statistics, it is clear that there is a drastic increase in obesity among adults and overweight.

It is very clear that there were around one-third of people were obese in 2007-2008 and two-third were overweight and obese in same course of time. Thus this declining health and fitness graph has come up as a major problem.

People who are following some fitness program have reported that by following fitness programs like P90x they are getting into a completely healthy life and discarding the problems caused due to obesity.

Popularity of ‘300’ has also flamed the question, is building body is a part of healthy life or healthy life is caused by building body. As by healthy body, we never meant a muscular body and you can never say that a muscular body is a healthy body. So this is really debatable, whether a muscular body can count in a healthy lifestyle or not. For increasing craze of building body among youngsters, this is even more important for everyone to consider the ill effects of building body.

Thus for any development in lifestyle in terms of healthy life, it is better to work with your body in a descent manner and does not lean much towards building muscular body using un natural methods.
