Tony Horton recommends that users of his P90X system eat nothing but whole foods. Whole foods are those that have had nothing added to them or taken away, they come in their natural state unaltered. He says to cook more at home rather than going out, and advises the use of cheese as a spice.
Change your focus
Tony Horton feels that too many people use his system only to look better. He advises that serious users focus more on feeling good and not just looking good.
Not being afraid to work hard
“Anyone who really wants to get the most out of the P90X system has to be prepared to work hard”, says Tony Horton. He claims that if the program is too easy for you than you are not working as hard as you should be. Other exercise programs do not deliver on their promises because they try to make things too easy is another one of his sentiments.

Tony Horton feels that a lot of people who fail on the P90X system try too hard to be perfect. He advises that people should focus more on execution rather than trying to be perfect.
