Japanese Student Dead in Niagara Falls Found
Police said that the student fell from a rail at the Canadian side and was swept over at the Niagara Falls and drowned.
The body of unidentified Japanese male was recovered by a helicopter search. The body was at the whirlpool below the falls. Body of female student is still missing.
Police officers are still trying to identify the man. On Sunday evening the student went to visit Niagara falls with her friend and she went to climb the railing when she straddled holding an umbrella.
When she tried to climb back she completely lost balance and fell into Niagara Falls.
The name of student was identified but police officers withheld it.
Niagara Falls department said “The death of the student is an anomaly because it’s rare for people to go over the falls.”
