Hiding Anything from Your Spouse is Bad, Especially the Debt
In fact, the media reports have come out with various reports of such developments. In one of those numerous events where the split did take place for this reason, a young lady said that her hiding of debt may be one factor which drove her boyfriend away. While citing the reason behind for her behavior, the lady said that she remained constantly under the fear of breaking-up of relationship if the real fact on debt was known by her boyfriend.
Reports quoted this lady, as saying that, she was afraid the relationship would be over. She added by questioning herself that, what would anyone else do if someone asked her to acquire $150,000 in debt overnight. She added that, she did not feel she could ask him to do that.
The scenario is becoming more and more real in many parts of the United States. Rise in this type of scenario may be offered to the fact of the amount of debt has risen by a significant margin. A citizen of the United States carries an average debt amount of a whopping $6,600. Most part of this debt is related to the credit card payment only. The survey has further pointed out that the average Americans use as many as five credit cards if not more than that.
With some common sense, it will become even more clear that the debt in such a measure will surely go sky-high.
While facing such problems the survey found out that people take refuge under the mentality of if her partner knew that about her, he will not want to be with her. Such types of hiding of debt secrets could only reach to an unbelievable amount of distrust in any relationship.
Strangely enough, some of the most long-lasting relationships too, suffer from similar such effects. There have been cases where almost after seven years, the relationship came to sudden end due to this reason. There are instances of the couple facing the salutation bravely, though.
