Floyd Mayweather Jr. Posts Bail over Grand Larceny Charges
The boxer posted $3,000 bail after he voluntarily surrendered to police authorities. Floyd Jr. admitted that he hurt Harris and uttered threatening words to Harris and her boyfriend, Chicago Bulls player C.J. Watson.
Defense attorney Karen Winckler abnegated wrongdoing on behalf of her client. She said that the truth will surface in the future and it would surely clarify what really happened. She explained that she is still waiting for David Roger, Clark Country District Attorney, for additional criminal charges that might be brought by the complainant against her client.
A police report disclosed that the incident was a case of domestic battery. It was likewise reflected on the report of the arrest that the same account was provided by Harris. It was so purposely to obtain protection order from the Clark County Family Court against Floyd Jr. Accordingly, Harris claimed that Floyd Jr. was angry with her having an affair with another man. She stated in her complaint that Floyd Jr. grabbed her hair, hit her and wrestled her arm, while angrily threatening to kill her.

On the other hand, Floyd's son told also the police that their father took their phones and gave threats to “beat” them if they would leave their house or attempt to call the police. He also witnessed how his father hit and kicked his mother. His father later used their mother's cell phone to call her friend who brought their mother to a hospital.
Police report said that Harris was treated for minor facial injuries and a sore left arm. Harris confessed that her relationship with Mayweather was a tortuous affair for about 15 years. They lived together for seven years and were separated last May.
