In San Jose, a 1978 statue by Julie Lord is missing
The bronze artifact maybe a high value art or in better words, highly priced, hence someone who had it valued by antique art realtors decided to make it go missing and made a kill. However, the secret has not been out in the dark for long since police in San Jose are investigating the loss of the San Jose Statue.
The bronze sculpture was done by artist Julie Lord and was commission in 1979 by the city. Today, San Jose is less this artifact it commissioned. The sculpture was mounted and has remained such a inspirational piece of art.
Those interviewed express dismay and desperation as efforts to locate the art failed to yield results. The Bronze artifact weighs 200-pounds. It is 71 inch in height. The loss is not being taken lightly with authorities investigating its loss. In 1978, it was commissioned for a whooping $17,000 hence its value could be a significant amount of money. Antique art has become good prey for thieves since they fetch millions of dollars in the black market.
It could be in someone’s backyard, one person told the press. However, police are yet to clarify this with conclusive investigations.
