Slipknot's bass player dies. Famous and well-like Paul Gray died on May 24th 2010. He was known for his talent of music and passion for music. Fans and band members knew him as No. 2 or the pig. Word of his death shocked fans and the music community all around.

Paul Gray was co finder in the famous band, Slipknot. He was the bands bass guitarist. Gray formed the band in 1995. All the band members had high hopes for the band’s future but they never anticipated the fame that was about to happen. In 1999 Slipknot made their debut and people all around the world became diehard fans.

The band and Paul Gray were well known for their different sound and their wild performances. Slipknots unique sound was a combination of screaming, grunting and rap. The band was well known for their scary and unusual costumes. Paul Gray got his nickname “the pig”, by wearing a latex costume that looked like a grotesque pig. The rest of the crew wore red boiler suit to mask their different sound and songs.

Paul Gray was in previous bands. He became a member of his first band, VeXX, when he was 17-years old. Gray, than moved on to eventually join Inveigh Catharsis, and Anal Blast. Finally Paul Gray than founded the band Slipknot in 1995. Their first debut album and single came out in 1999. Pandemonium and love for the band spread soon after that.

Paul Gray was 38 years old when he died. Details of his death are unknown.The music community, fan, friends and family members will miss him. There has been no word as to when funeral arrangements are set to date.
