Hypoallergenic Dogs

hypoallergenic dogsDo you know that there are actually more than 50 million Americans that suffer from allergies? And with this data, there are approximately 39% people in the United States that have at least one dog in their house for their pet. And with the number of allergic sufferers increasing nowadays, it is very important that people should now be aware that owning hypoallergenic dogs is important in order to stop the spread of allergies. To help you with choosing which breed of hypoallergenic dogs to own, here are some information about these breeds:

·  The Italian Greyhound is actually a good choice of dog, since it is so clean and that some of these hypoallergenic dogs are odorless in nature. In addition, Italian greyhounds are gentle, and are very affectionate kinds of dogs and have virtually no hair.

·  A Toy Poodle will also make a wonderful companion at home. These hypoallergenic dogs are extra sensitive, but they’re very intelligent and therefore, are well loved by so many people. Poodles have little to no hair and therefore, they’re a perfect pet for allergy sufferers.

·  The Maltese dog's luxurious and silky human-like hairs are sometimes disaster-prone, but actually, some of these breeds have little to no hair. These dogs also do very well as compared with other breeds.

·  The Chinese Crested dog is a perfect dog for those with hair allergies because they are almost bald, except that the top portion of their head, feet and tail has some tiny hairs. They are very sweet and playful, especially with children.

·  Shih Tzu is ideal for those suffering from allergies, for as long as they are well groomed. They are very alert and spunky and are sometimes clever and stubborn.

Just keep in mind though that dog allergies will actually vary from one person to another. If you think you are allergic to a dog, it is best to spend some time first with a certain breed of dog that you are interested in buying. And if you begin to sneeze, and feel that your eyes are getting watery, then you should not get that dog.
