How to Tell if Your Man is Cheating
Sometimes you will never spot a liar, if you never look for the signs. If your gut is telling you something is wrong than don’t just take their word for it. It could make you look like a fool in the end.
Behavioral analyst, Greg Hartley, has spent years training and teaching army soldiers to spot liars. He is skilled in the art of liar-spotting. Here are a few of his tips that he says will help you spot that liar in seconds.
Love and War
Hartley feels that watching and understanding a person’s emotions can be used on the war zone and off of it as well. In “Date Decoder,” he helps women find out why they are attracted to specific guys and why other men they don’t give a second look to. The biggest mistake a woman can make in a relationship is to not see what that man is doing. Instead they see what they want him to be doing.
I Saw the Signs
Hartley thinks to narrow down who are the liars and who are the believers, that woman must watch two types of hand gestures. He says when someone is nervous they will use hand gestures. If they are lying they will use their hands like a barrier and place them in front of them. The second thing women will want to do is to look for nervous ticks. This will include eye twitches, tapping legs, rubbing their fingertips, wiping under their eyes.
The 3 Types of Lies
There are three types of lies to look out for. They are lies of omission. In this type of lie the man will leave out a lot of details and just be vague. Lies of commission are number two. This is where they are strictly making things up. Lies of embellishment are number 3. This is when they start with the truth, but adds to it.
The best thing a woman can do is to judge for herself. If you trust that your man is telling you the truth, then ask no more. But if you are not sure than it won’t hurt to ask a few questions, in order to dig deeper.
Hartley has written six books on the subject of lying. These include "How to Spot a Liar: Why People Don't Tell the Truth and How You Can Catch Them" and "Date Decoder: Military Intelligence Techniques to Expose What He's really Thinking."
