Ingredients:
- Large green onions – 2
- Green peppers – 2
- Whole or diced cans of tomatoes – 1 or 2
- Carrots – 3
- Mushrooms – 1 container, about 10 oz
- Celery – 1 bunch
- Cabbage – half a head
- Lipton soup mix – 1 package
- Bouillion – 1 or 2 cubes
- V8 juice – one 48 oz can
- Seasonings – salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc for you to taste
Directions:
The first step that you have to do here is to slice green onions and put them in a cooking pot where you can start to sauté with the help of cooking spray.
You will then have to cut off the green pepper stem end and chop it into two halves so that you can remove the seed and membrane out. Then, cut the green pepper into pieces and add to the cooking pot.
Remove the outer layers of leaves from the cabbage and cut it into small pieces to add to the pot.
Clean the carrots well and chop them into small pieces so that you can add it to the pot.
You will then have to slice mushrooms into thick slices and add it to the cooking pot.
If you like to have a spicy soup, then add small amounts of cayenne pepper.
You can then use chicken bouillion cubes or beef for seasoning. These should be prepared with all the flavor and required amount of salt in it.
Use about 12 cups of water or V8 juice to add to the pot and cook well by covering it and putting it on low heat. You should allow it cook for two hours or so and season with salt and pepper.
