There are a number of ways to lose weight but do you know what can keep you healthy while reducing your weight gradually? That is why you need to go for a low carb diet plan. Not just this, it lets you sustain your weight without much of an effort!!

This is because foods rich in carbohydrates require more work out and exercising to be burnt. Otherwise, all their additional calories are not required for your body and tend to accumulate.

Carbohydrates generally contribute to a major portion of our diet plan. All types of breads, potatoes, rice, wheat, maize and commonly eaten staple foods are actually rich carbohydrate sources. The body required these for strength and stamina but in the right with other nutrients such as vitamins and minerals. Another important requirement is the presence of adequate amounts of roughage in the diet that helps in digestion.

Planning your low carb diet can be relatively easy.

1.      Reducing Starch intake:

Foods that are rich in carbohydrates or starch require greater amounts of exercising and restriction to be utilized completely in the daily activities of the human body.  We generally tend to consume more starch than that which is required by the body. For instance, breads and potatoes are good sources of carbohydrates and are essential to a certain extent. Care must be taken for a low carb diet plan to limit the in take of flour based breads and cakes that only give rise to empty calories.

2.      Focus on Proteins:

Carbohydrates are generally the filling component of a diet. When consumed adequately, they make you feel full and your stomach comfortable. How do you replace the carbs when you want a low carb diet plan? Pertinacious diets can be added to a low carb diet plan in place of starchy foods.

For instance grams and pulses are rich in protein and they help build muscle strength. In addition to this, proteins and minerals are also vital fro bone formation.

A tall glass of milk can add to your protein base and also make you feel stomach full while continuing with a low carb diet plan.

3.      In crease fiber intake:

Fibers help in digestion and are better for a low carb diet plan than other supplements in place of carbs. For instance brown rice, wheat germ and whole grains are rich sources of fiber Similarly fruits and vegetables are also good sources of fiber that help smoothen the digestion process and work well in place of carbs for your low carb diet plan.

Green leafy vegetables are good sources of vitamins and minerals that are also required by the body and are good stomach filling methods.

Remember to include a glass of milk, a bowl of salad, a dish with pulses and little bit of fiber rich brown rice to find the right mix for a low carb diet plan!!
