Gym and fitness centers are seen in subdivisions, commercial areas and even in malls. Also, more and more women have been into getting fit-- compared to before when men dominated the fitness world.

Lean, tone bods nowadays are not only for men too. Abs that you can adore is also dreamed by women now, not to look at, but to have one of their own. Soon enough, specific ab workouts for women have been formulated so they can have the results that they want.

But what you need to understand is that these ab workouts for women won’t get you that wonderful abs without proper diet, enough rest and cardio exercises. Plus, you need to say to diet pills if you think that will do the job.

Here are some of the most effective ab workouts that women will love:

Crunch. This is the common first suggestion of everybody, even people who are not even fitness instructors. It trims and gives the right push to the upper section of your stomach. If done right, you’d have a lean upper section in no time.

Leg lift. Raising your legs as they are lifted straight 90 degrees from the floor to give the lower part of your abdomen a challenge. These are done in three sets of 20 repetitions for newbies and can be regularly done every two days.

Pelvic tilt. This is done by raising the torso upwards from rest while the knees are flexed. This conditions the lower back to give a total workout for the whole midsection. The lower back is the fortress of your body especially the spine, so it is important to give it attention like how you would do to the other parts of your body that needs toning.

Twists. While sitting on the floor, open your legs to a 45 degree angle and put your hands behind your head. Twist to the right and to the left for at least 20 counts and repeat the set three times.

Oblique Crunch. This eliminates the love handles that everyone is trying to break up with. With the oblique crunch, your side obliques will get firm and you never have to worry about having to wear a tight-fitting shirt or blouse ever again.
