Heavy weight gain and pregnancy can cause stretch marks. Men and women both can accumulate them over the years. Women are more prone to stretch marks than men are. Stretch marks are most common on the thighs, chest, legs, and arms. Starting out they will be a light to deep purple color. Over time stretch marks fade and turn into silver or white streaks across the skin.

Coco Butter Cream
Coco butter cream is inexpensive and can be found at any outlet store. Prices vary on the store you purchase it at, but it normally ranges around $5. Coco butter is made from all natural ingredients and helps smooth out the skin. It also helps the elasticity of your skin. Stretch marks are caused by the stretching of skin. This causes you to lose your elasticity. Applying coco butter to your body once in the morning and once at night should help decrease or get rid of stretch marks.

Microdermabrasion
This is a non surgical procedure. It is quick and painless. It exfoliates the skin using aluminum oxide spray. This is a highly effective treatment for people with thin stretch marks that are not embedded into the skin too deep. It is one of the safest methods out there for stretch mark removal.

Laser Skin Treatment
There are normally two types of laser skin treatments for stretch marks. The first treatment is resurfacing laser skin treatment. This first stage removes the top layer of skin, allowing your skin room to breathe and grow new skin cells. The second type is called rejuvenation laser therapy. Skin is not removed from this treatment. It is done with a” cool to the touch” laser. It helps rejuvenate collegian production.

Exercise
Sometimes exercise can be the best cure for stretch marks. While it isn’t a permanent solution, it can help reduce the look of stretch marks. Tightening up the area around your stretch marks will help the marks to fade or disappear completely. This is because your skin will be firm and supple again with exercise.

Tanning
A lot of people are leery on tanning when they have stretch marks. Tanning can cause stretch marks to become more visible in some women, while others it can help hide stretch marks. If you are not sure try tanning a portion of your skin. This way if tanning does bring out more prominent stretch marks, you can cover up with a shirt or other item of clothing.
