Cell Phones and Cancer
These days it is not uncommon for children as young as eight-years-old to be carrying around cell phones. This may not be a good thing according to scientists who are conducting the experiment. Researchers found that children who use cell phones are 5 times more likely to be diagnosed with brain tumors. This is due to the fact that a child’s bone skull is thinner than an adult. This leaves children at a higher risk for cell phone radiation to penetrate a larger portion of their brain tissue.
Cell phones can cause nausea, headaches, pain in the head region, ringing in ears, and other head issues. Researchers have found a greater increase in brain tumors with people who have used their cell phones or Wi-Fi systems for more than 30 minutes a day. Researchers believe that this is due to what is called “dirty electricity.” Dirty electricity is referred to as an electricity surge that gives off more than 2, 500 wattage of electricity. A normal household appliance, such as a toaster, gives off no more than 60 watts of electricity. Cell phones are believed to give off 2,500 watts of electricity.
There is a chip that can be purchased at available stores for only $24.95. It is called xZubi chip. It is a small paper thin chip that can be placed into cell phones. The device is supposed to protect the user from dirty electricity and overexposure to cell phone radiation.
It is important to use proper use when referring to cell phones, computers or any other form of technology. Always try to talk as minimal as possible. Try not to stay on the phone for longer than 15 minutes at a time. Do not allow children to sleep with their cell phone or carry their cell phone around for large amounts of time. Even though the cell phone is not in use, it is still radiating electricity from the device being on. Most importantly do not let cell phone radiation scare you off from using your cell phone. When used properly and with caution, cell phones can be a blessing and not harmful to the user.
