If you aren’t a big fan of the stretchy waistband, there is another option available to you. Retailers do have maternity pants available now that have a belt option. They button and zip just like regular pants. The only difference is that on the sides of the pants, there is a belt loop. You can tighten and loosen the belt loop, as needed. This is only a temporary fix. If you chose this option then you will need to eventually upgrade to a bigger size.

There are also belts that are available. With this option you can still choose to wear your regular pants. All you do is place the stretchy band over your unzipped and unbuttoned pants. The band flattens everything with its thick stretchy lining. People will never know you aren’t wearing maternity pants. The stretchy band is comforting to wear. They are inexpensive to. You can purchase one that is from $10 to $20 at any retailer that sells maternity pants.

If you don’t have the money right now to purchase new maternity pants, then you can always find ways to fix them yourself. Such as taking a rubber band and looping it around the button and through the hole of your jeans. This will be a temporary fix until you can buy something that will be more long term.
