No more searching, no more waiting, and no more working in a job you hate.  All that is left is a job that is secure and a career.

Sources. With the internet at our every call, a lot of people forget about the old fashioned way to apply for jobs.   They are newspapers, making a trip to the establishment, and asking around. Every morning search the help wanted ads for the field you wish to go into. Circle the ones you would like to apply to. Walk around your town and go into stores to see who is hiring. Ask politely for a job application. Ask friends and family if they know who is hiring. See if they can keep their ears pealed for you.

Appearance is everything.  People think that the only part that matters is the interview. They are sadly mistaken. If you are applying for a teller job at a bank and go in there with ripped clothes and messy hair they will pass you up, no matter how impressive your resume is. Always dress for the job you are applying for. This way when you do turn in those job applications you may land an interview. Make sure your shoes are nice and are free of dirt and holes.

Don’t Forget You Have a Phone. After applying for jobs, a lot of people forget about calling on their application. They either are too nervous to make that first step or are leave it up to the business to contact them. The best time to wait is 1 week. Don’t wait any longer than one week. Call back twice. If you don’t receive an update or you have to leave a message and receive no call back, it is best to let that job opportunity go. Do not hound them for the status of your application. This will just make you look bad in the end.

Interview. When you do finally get an interview you will want to dress appropriately. Don’t dress in anything that is revealing if you are a woman. Make sure your hair looks nice and clothes are free of wrinkles. Smile and make eye contact. Answer all questions to the best of your ability.

If you do land that big interview, make sure to breath. Relax and stay calm. There are a million other jobs out there so don’t worry too much about this one. But don’t be too casual about it either.
